First contact between the Systems Alliance and the Republic. The Systems Alliance being very careful, obviously, since their very first first contact didn't go too well.

would be interesting to see a fight between mass effect and star wars, star wars shields only seem effective against energy weapons and mass effect shields only work against physical weapons
but i think in the end the shear size of the star wars ships would let them soak up the fire of any mass effect ship long enough for star wars to win
